After graduating from East Syracuse-Minoa High School, Dr. Chiaravalloti attended Saint John Fisher College in Rochester, NY. He graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Biology with minors in Chemistry and Religious Studies. Dr. Chiaravalloti completed medical school at SUNY Upstate Medical University in Syracuse, NY. During this time, he was inducted into the prestigious national medical honor society, Alpha Omega Alpha. After his internship at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Syracuse, Dr. Chiaravalloti completed his residency in Dermatology at University of Connecticut Health Center. He was selected as Chief Resident in his final year. Dr. Chiaravalloti has authored numerous book chapters and scientific papers in peer reviewed journals in the field of dermatology including the prestigious Journal of the American Academy of Dermatology (JAAD) and Dermatologic Surgery. He won the coveted Best Publication Award during his time at UConn for his research in melanoma.

Dr. Chiaravalloti has also completed an advanced fellowship in Mohs Micrographic Surgery and Dermatologic Oncology. During this additional year at UConn, he performed Mohs Micrographic Surgery, advanced reconstructive surgery and cosmetic dermatology. During this fellowship, he collaborated on the most complex cases of skin cancer at the institution and to date has performed thousands of Mohs Surgeries. He is excited to bring this expertise back to Central New York. He is a member of the American Academy of Dermatology, American Society for Dermatologic Surgery, and the American College of Mohs Surgery. Dr. Chiaravalloti is an avid Syracuse sports fan and is excited to be coming home after spending four years in Connecticut. In his free time, Dr. Chiaravalloti enjoys golfing, cooking and traveling.
